“Yavarovy Dzecy” (Maple Children) children’s singing group was formed in 2015. The group’s repertoire includes Belarusian folk songs, songs by Belarusian composers, a well as children’s hit songs translated from other languages.

“Yavarovy Dzecy” is the youth branch of “Yavarovy Ljudzi“. Both groups are run by Vialeta Kovaleva, and frequently, both groups perform together at concerts. In the recent years, the children’t group has been assisting in the observance of Kupalle and Kalyady. Both groups participated in recording of seasonal video-greeting cards in 2016 and 2019.

“Yavarovy Dzecy” always participate in children’s events at the Belarusian civic-cultural center in Toronto, at the annual spring children’s festival, as well as the numerous installations and other projects.

The group welcomes children from 4 to 12 years old. Lessons take place at the cultural-civic center in Toronto*.
